Toasty, crunchy, and ultra-satisfying.

Crispy Air Fryer Ravioli, Chicken Sausage & Broccoli

Prep Time: 10 min | Cook Time: 20 min | Servings: 1

Legend has it toasted ravioli was born from a happy kitchen accident—someone dropped the pasta in the fryer, and dinner was never the same. This version keeps the crunch but skips the grease, swapping the deep fryer for an air fryer and adding broccoli alongside another lower-fat take on an Italian kitchen staple: Italian Herb Chicken Sausage. It’s golden, garlicky, and gloriously easy—a bar-snack classic reimagined as a quick, satisfying weeknight dinner.

Pro tip: This recipe was developed using a standard-sized air fryer, but your batch and serving size will vary based on the size of your basket. Use the on-page recipe multiplier to help you scale up if you don’t feel like mathing.

1 large egg
1 tablespoon water
0.33 cup breadcrumbs
0.5 teaspoon Italian seasoning
0.25 teaspoon kosher salt
1 8 oz package cheese ravioli
Cooking spray
2 Italian Herb Chicken Sausage links, cut into ¾-inch rounds
2 cups broccoli florets
Pinch of kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 cup marinara sauce, warmed

Instructions

Prep Time: 10 min | Cook Time: 20 min | Servings: 1
1
Preheat the air fryer to 350ºF.
2
In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg and water. In another bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and Italian seasoning.
3
Dunk each ravioli into the beaten egg, then into the breadcrumbs until evenly coated. Set aside on a plate and spray both sides of the ravioli with cooking spray.
4
You'll be making batches here, so add half of the ravioli to the fryer basket, making sure they don’t overlap. Add half of the sausage rounds and half of the broccoli florets alongside the ravioli. Spray the broccoli with cooking spray and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
5
Air fry for 6 minutes, then use tongs to flip the ravioli and gently toss the sausage and broccoli. Air fry for another 4 minutes. Repeat process with the second batch.
6
Serve everything on a plate with a side of warm marinara for dipping.
